Warning! This match got dangerous; Not for the Faint of Heart! One of the fighters sustained an injury that caused the match to have to end early.

Must win Round 2 match for Sweet Sara (0-1) who lost a close fight to Kevin in Round 1. If she plans to finish in the top two of Division A and advance to the elimination rounds she will have to find a way to defeat her good friend Sofia (1-0).

Meanwhile, after demolishing Mishelle in the first round, Sofia has her eyes set on not only securing a spot in the elimination bracket, but winning Division A and getting a lower seed to match up against in the playoffs. Sofia looked dominant in her first match, but Sara will present a physically stronger opponent than Sofia’s first round opponent of Mishelle.

About the 2025 Colombian Cup:

This is a 16 person mixed wrestling tournament. There are 4 divisions, each division has 4 people. Everyone will fight everyone in their division for a total of 3 preliminary fights. The top two finishers in each division will move onto the single elimination bracket.

Each match will have two 4-minute rounds.

In matches where the man has a substantial size advantage, they will begin each round in a scissorhold by the woman.

Points can be scored for round domination (1 or 2 points), 10-second schoolgirl pin (1 point), submisssion (3 points), end of round bodyscissors or shoulder pin (1 point), or end of round headscissors, schoolgirl pin, or rear naked choke and bodyscissor combo (2 points).

The fighter with the most points at the end of the second round will be declared the winner.
