Description

Camila (5’5″, 114 pounds) coming off of her big upset win over Claudia in round 1 now takes on David (6’1″, 210 pounds) in her first ever mixed wrestling match.

Both fighters won their round 1 match, so the winner of this one will be in first place all by themselves in Division B heading into the final preliminary round before the elimination brackets are set.

Camila is once again a huge underdog, but she believes that she can do the same thing to David that she did to the larger Claudia in round 1; wear him out with her quickness and stamina and get a late scissorhold submission to secure the upset.

Can she pull off another big upset?

About the 2025 Colombian Cup:

This is a 16 person mixed wrestling tournament. There are 4 divisions, each division has 4 people. Everyone will fight everyone in their division for a total of 3 preliminary fights. The top two finishers in each division will move onto the single elimination bracket.

Each match will have two 4-minute rounds.

In matches where the man has a substantial size advantage, they will begin each round in a scissorhold by the woman.

Points can be scored for round domination (1 or 2 points), 10-second schoolgirl pin (1 point), submisssion (3 points), end of round bodyscissors or shoulder pin (1 point), or end of round headscissors, schoolgirl pin, or rear naked choke and bodyscissor combo (2 points).

The fighter with the most points at the end of the second round will be declared the winner.
